Ever found yourself glued to the stock market graphs, watching them move a fraction of a percent day by day? I'm a victim of that too, which is why the Quiet Market was created.
Most of the time, there's nothing significant to see in those graphs and nothing to read about on the financial news websites. If you're a private investor focused on a long-term perspective, you should only need to remember about the market a few times a year.
However, there's always this buzz, I know. Oh, Tesla just sank 0.02%, and Apple is up 0.05%. There must be good reasons for these movements! And you need to know what those reasons are! And here is the time wasted reading the "analysis by experts," whose goal is to keep you engaged on the news site. That's not information; that's entertainment. And quite a useless kind of one.
I want you to spend as little time as possible on the Quiet Market. Most of the time, it will just say there are no significant events. Behind the scenes, we process the market data and put it through a filter to determine whether the price movement or the trading volume is higher than usual. Only if it is, will you see it.
Moreover, I don't want you to have to open the Quiet Market website at all. Subscribe to our mailing list to receive an automated email when we detect unusual activity.
Currently, we are only tracking world's major stock indices:
